I find math very confusing at times.I have more confidence in myself about doing math then I used to .I really do not think all the math that is required is needed for the field I am going into, but I am sure some of it can come in handy sometime or another. I used to have real bad math axiety but…

well i think that the new math program goes a t a good pace so you should do just fine

I so have the same feeling on math that you do. So far I am really liking the I-learn program. It’s going at my pace :)

 Yeah i hate math too!

How will you study for the final?

My study plan for the final, is to use the worksheets posted on the Web-site. Also I will be reviewing I-learn, my notes, and index cards. I will also be reviewing the work that has been completed to date.

What is my progress in I-learn

Right now I am in unit K, Linear equations. Now it was smooth sailing until I hit this chapter. It is a real challenge for me right now. I’m still continuing going to tutoring and that has helped me very much.

What have you done on your project so far? What are you going to do? How is it going?

So far our group is still in the information gathering stage of our project. We are gathering opinions from law enforcement, and also people who have actually experienced incarceration. I think it’s going great now that we are on the same page as far as what we are going to do and how we are going to put it together. I believe we are all getting along well.

What I would like to do with our article…

That sounds great Rhonda, I agree

My only thought is some poster board with our findings on stats… Colorful and with the best information we can find.

Right, that’s what I thought. But there are so many differant factors that they have considered.

Crime Rate Puzzle

By: Radley Balko

In this article the author Balco points out ” The more criminals we incarcerate you would think the crime rate would decrease”. But in turn Steve Messner a criminologist at the University of Missouri in St Louis States in a series of studies published…

Wow„ those numbers are crazy! I knew the rates were high because I can just see it here in our small community. But when you put the math to it “blows my mind away” very thankful I was smart enough not to get involved in alchol or drugs myself.

Working Partners for an Alcohol- and Drug-Free Workplace

In 2007, an estimated 19.9 million Americans were current drug users. About 8% are still addicts today. There are 23.3% of the population age 12 and over that are binge drinkers and 6.9% are heavy drinkers. Among adults age 50-59 were 2.7%…

~Sarah that’s crazy… I never thought the numbers would be THAT bad.

That’s really really sad to see those huge numbers. You never know about anyone now a days…

I totally agree about that. The peson you least expect could be the one with the problem.

Ideally you should be at T by the end of July. How are you doing?

I am having the same kind of feeling you are having Rhonda!!! I try to get on I-lean as much as possible. However I am also having to include tutoring in my time so that makes it even more difficult for me. I feel guilty for not being on I-lean. But tutoring has helped me in the subjects that I am having trouble in I-learn

rhondacampbell:

I hope I will make it.  I think I will.  If I am and at home and not on ILearn it is eating at me till I get up and get started!!!

That would be very interesting to see what kind of colors would affect my mood :)

you know thay do the same test for your eye’s to see if you are color blind.                                                                                                 The red white and blues of emotion:
