How will you study for the final?
My study plan for the final, is to use the worksheets posted on the Web-site. Also I will be reviewing I-learn, my notes, and index cards. I will also be reviewing the work that has been completed to date.
What is my progress in I-learn
Right now I am in unit K, Linear equations. Now it was smooth sailing until I hit this chapter. It is a real challenge for me right now. I’m still continuing going to tutoring and that has helped me very much.
What have you done on your project so far? What...
So far our group is still in the information gathering stage of our project. We are gathering opinions from law enforcement, and also people who have actually experienced incarceration. I think it’s going great now that we are on the same page as far as what we are going to do and how we are going to put it together. I believe we are all getting along well.

I am having the same kind of feeling you are having Rhonda!!! I try to get on I-lean as much as possible. However I am also having to include tutoring in my time so that makes it even more difficult for me. I feel guilty for not being on I-lean. But tutoring has helped me in the subjects that I am having trouble in I-learn

Well, I have put a lot of thought into this and at one point I was kind of confused on what to do. So I took a moment to talk to Emily and realized she really just wants some ideas. So with that in perspective when I read my article, it kind of makes me wonder if training, rehabilitation, counseling actually helps with repeat offenders, if they have seen a drop in the crime rate as far...

I find when I am having that problems it’s time for a break :) „ I take the time to get myself together. It hasn’t been easy for me because I hate asking for help. But I have found asking for help is saving me time in the long run rather then trying to figure it out on my own. Good Luck and don’t give up :)

So far the most difficult topic in I-learn for me has been fractions. There is so many different things you can do with them. It’s pretty mind boggling for me. However, I feel OK with the speed I am going. I also feel I have learned alot. Tutoring has helped beyond belief for me. If it wasn’t for the great tutoring program I would be a train wreck.

How much time have you spent in ilearn?
Hi :) so you know a 100% of what time you are spending in Ilearn. Log into Ilearn and click on reports. You will log in again and it will show you the exact time you have spent. Also it lists a report of everything you have done so you can fill out your activity sheets. Not sure if you knew that or not. Just thought I would let you know just in case.

well so far i have spent 14.65 hours in I-learn. I feel I have spent enough time as of right now.
As far as finding more time in my schedule, I’m using all my spare time right now working on homework and I learn. I have been going to tutoring since day 1, so those hours aren’t included in the hours in I-learn. I’m using my tutoring time to ask questions and work on worksheets.

Well, I have many different feelings when it comes to math. As a part of everyday day life it is a necessity. We have to manage our money, our bills and learn to live by a budget. If we fail at this we can cause ourselves alot of grief that could be avoided.

Why are you in College?
I decided to go back to college after being layed off from my current job of 11 years. Once I started looking for work I soon realized I was not even close to getting paid the amount I was use to. So I decided for my future and the future of my family, to stop making excuses and go back to school.
